Cube Cutting a Flake Tobacco

I have enjoyed and received positive feedback on the articles I’ve done on different methods of preparing tobacco and loading it to smoke. It occurred to me that I had left out one of my personal favorite methods, one that I use not as often but exclusively with certain blends: cube cutting.

Cube cutting is fairly simple and straightforward and, for me, is just the ticket on certain blends. It is a method that seems to get little attention, probably because it takes a little more time than fold and stuff or cannonballing. But when you find a blend that just isn’t working as well as you’d like with one of the many other methods cube cutting may be the answer. And if it is, it is most definitely worth the extra few minutes! I hope this short video helps to better explain the method.
